The 2009 Master Gardeners class, with help and guidance from Joe Sabol, each class member raised dahlia cuttings donated by Corralitos Gardens, to enter in the Mid-State Fair Dahlia Show. We had a great time, and, some success.

dgimages > The judges liked this one a lot and so did I. I propose it as our inspiration and goal for next time!!
dgimages > The class did a Zucchini project for the fair too. It wasn't as well supported but I did manage a 2nd place to the credit of the Master Gardeners.
dgimages > The basket of 5 Zucchini sure looks small in relation to the effort to produce them!.
